Mission and Goals

The mission of Rejuvenate Housing is to rejuvenate neighborhoods and create homeownership opportunities that promote the health and welfare of the community.

To accomplish our mission, we focus on three goals:

• To identify and acquire residential properties that can be restored as quality single-family homes

• To secure financing to renovate properties through private fundraising, grant opportunities and housing program assistance

• To identity and secure low-moderate income single-family buyers.

Philosophy

While Rejuvenate Housing’s mission is not restricted in terms of its geography, our Board of Directors has chosen to begin its work on West 14 th and West 17 th Streets – south of Locust Street and east of Gaines -
in a deliberate effort to leverage and capitalize on areas in which significant private investment is already underway.

We believe we will be able to show a greater impact these first years of operation when multiple properties in a concentrated area are renovated rather than doing spot improvements across the city.
